#268 - Better Late Than Never

Apologies!  I am doing this on my own now so if I have computer issues, you all have to wait.  I am terribly sorry.

Better late than not at all.  In fact,  I think that that is a great prompt, so I am changing the prompt I was going to give you this week.

Better late than never.  What do you make of that?

Better late than never
Says the old adage
It sure sounds sane and wise.
But it may not be clever
To blindly believe the sage
Or swear by that advice.

The train that leaves
When you just arrive
Is not a matter of fate.
The man that grieves
Even when he strives
May be the one who started late.

Time flows on
Like a long sentence
But it has its punctuations.
He is a moron
Who cannot make sense
Of its rules and regulations.

I just started a blog today so I can participate. I've been doing the writing prompts on my own for awhile, but I thought it'd be more fun to officially join in ;) Thanks for the great writing prompts!
