#103 - "I just don't get it..."

What puzzles you? What fills you with confusion? What makes your forehead scrunch up when you think about it? It doesn't have to be a big thing. It can be as wide as global warming or as small as an 'on' button. It can be as weird as the contents of your fridge or as scientific as apple pie. It can be political or social or ridiculous or silly. Surely there is something that has puzzled you over the years. What don't you get?

Happy Scribbling!

I don't get 'evil', destruction, war, deadly dominance. In my piece this week, I depict the pain this can cause.

Many people don't 'get' the Easter story. I'm not sure I do but this made me think.

This was my second Scribble, and I'm really digging this. Thank you so much for these prompts. This week, I got a bit mushy, and I would apologize, except I don't think there's anything wrong with getting mushy every now and then. So there!

Wow, it looks like a lot of posts went deep on this one. Definitely not the take I took with this little fiction piece.

I'm doing the greatest bane of my life - math! Nice topic, keep it up. This is my second response, and I feel really good, because for displaying your talent(even if it is amateur-ish) on Sunday Scribblings is a great platform for more experienced writers and appreciators of writing to encourage hobby-writers like me.

This seems to have gotten me unstuck, at least for the week.

Life is full of things I don't get. This is but a short sampling.

I had to think a while. You might wonder why after you read this frivolous piece. Ha ha. Ok, so I was thinking about whether to do a serious piece or not. Since I already did a serious piece for Easter, I decided, ok, just have fun.

Whoops. Someone pointed out that my Linky at #30 takes you to my main blog, not to the direct post. Apologies; can someone delete Link #30 but retain the second, correct one, please?

And anyone who uses Link #30, please just scroll down. It's really not hard to do.

I am quite passionate about the incidence of child soldiers in the world.

The truth is so shocking!

I wanna know why it should be?

My posting includes excerpts from my Helium articleon the topic plus poetic comment!

hi there! I just happened to be passing and glad to see it's still popular. haven't submitted in a while but, coincidently, my yesterday's effort marginally fits the prompt...I think. well, if you don't get it I guess that fits the prompt even better.

cheers and a good easter!

Ohisashiburi des, ne? It's been awhile since I've posted a Sunday Scribbling (or at all :()

As usual, I reflected on my inner state of being and realized that, right now, in this blessed moment, there's no part of myself I don't get.

I don't expect to be lucky enough to linger in such a state of grace, but I'm hopeful nonetheless.

Had a bit of trouble with this one; not the subject matter so much as the execution of this piece, which has been rumbling around my brain all week. It might have been a bit richer left in my subconscious.
